A technology known as “Ultroid”, which uses a probe which is introduced into the anus through an anoscope, uses an electrical current (“direct current”) to create a chemical reaction in the hemorrhoid tissue, causing the hemorrhoid to scar and shrink, relieving the patients’ symptoms. The Ultroid procedure takes much longer to complete than CRH – depending upon the grade of the patient’s hemorrhoids and the amount of electrical current that the patient can tolerate from the Ultroid device without experiencing pain. The Ultroid procedure should take between approximately 5 – 20 minutes, as opposed to less than 60 seconds for the CRH O’Regan System.
Before choosing Ultroid, talk to your doctor – and see why the CRH O’Regan System might be a better choice for your treatment. Learn more about CRH now.
At CRH we have developed a procedure that is inexpensive, quick and virtually painless. The Ultroid system simply doesn’t meet these requirements. We truly believe in offering the best treatment on the market, that’s why we’re comfortable talking about what every other treatment on the market offers. We’re don’t mind sizing up the competition because we believe this practice works in our favor.
