“I have been suffering from extremely painful internal hemorrhoids for 6 years. They resulted from an emergency open appendectomy I had and never resolved. The pain continued to escalate month after month, year after year despite my faithful application of lots of water, plenty of exercise and fiber, and staying in good physical shape. On my bad days, the pain was probably an 8 or a 9 on a scale of 10, and it was relentless. Even I a good day I suffered from pain, burning, and itching. I was taking up to 1200mg of Ibuprofen on most days just to keep the pain to a level whereby I could participate in daily activities. I am a very active person and I found myself avoiding the things I loved to do like hiking, riding horses, camping, and exercising because of the pain. A friend told me about this new banding procedure so I thought I’d try it. After three bandings in June of 2012 I am now 100% pain free and symptom free for the first time in six years! I am completely back to normal and my quality of life has vastly improved. The procedure itself is painless and after three bandings I feel like my issue is completely resolved. I plan to continue on the pathway to health and wellness by eating lots of healthy fiber-rich foods, drinking lots of water, and exercising.
