CRH Medical: Serving Patients Since 2000
Founded in 2000, CRH Medical Corporation is dedicated to providing compassionate care and informative educational resources to patients.
Back in 2002, we first encountered what is now known as the CRH O’Regan System, and immediately saw its potential for improving life for the millions of people who suffer from hemorrhoids.
We began training doctors across the United States to offer this patented, FDA-approved procedure in 2008, allowing us to make this important treatment available to people across the country. Today, over 1,000 physicians’ offices offer the CRH solution, with thousands of patients getting complete relief from their hemorrhoids each year.
CRH Medical Corporation is led by an experienced, passionate team of executives:
Tushar Ramani, MD, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Tushar Ramani brings over 30 years of experience in the anesthesia industry to CRH Medical Corporation. Prior to joining CRH, Dr. Ramani co-founded Anesthetix, a national provider of anesthesiology and pain management services offering anesthesia department clinical, operational, and financial evaluation, optimization and management. After Anesthetix was acquired by TeamHealth Holdings, Inc., a physician services organization listed on the NYSE at the time, Dr. Ramani remained as President of TeamHealth’s Anesthesia Division, growing it to over $300M in revenue. Dr. Ramani has co-developed several other anesthesia-related service companies in addition to Anesthetix, including a full-service healthcare staffing firm and an anesthesia revenue cycle management company.
More recently, Dr. Ramani worked with Summit Partners’ Healthcare & Life Sciences team as an Executive in Residence to identify growth investment opportunities in healthcare and evaluate prospects of existing investments. In connection with this appointment, he served as CEO of portfolio company, MedOptions, Inc., the nation’s largest behavioral health services provider to post-acute care facilities.
Formerly a practicing anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist, Dr. Ramani attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, interned at Morristown Memorial Hospital, and completed residency in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management at Mount Sinai Medical School, New York.
