Gaith Alshkaki, M.D., CABS, FRCSI

Dr. Alshkaki is an American Board Certified General, Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon. His experience includes, but is not limited to, three years as an Attending Surgeon, Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland and two years as an Attending Surgeon for Inova Health System/Infinity Surgical Associates in Northern Virginia.

Dr. Alshkaki completed a five year residency in general surgery at Oregon Health and Science University located in Portland, Oregon as well as yearlong fellowships in the fields of General, Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic surgery.

As a member of The American College of Surgeons, SSAT and SAGES, SLS, Dr. Alshkaki has continued to further his training in the fields of Advanced Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatric and Robotics with special interest in colorectal surgery. He also has many publications in the field of General Surgery and is on peer review committees for international journals.
