Andrew E. Schwartz, M.D.
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Schwartz has been in practice in West Chester since 1989. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, and attended the New York Medical College. Dr. Schwartz completed his residency training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Northwestern University, where he was awarded the Northwestern University Outstanding Young Investigator Research Award.
David E. Bobman, M.D.
Dr. Bobman joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2005 after fourteen years in gastrointestinal practice at Riddle Memorial, Taylor, and Crozer-Chester Hospitals. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Medical School. Dr. Bobman completed residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Cooper Hospital/UMDNJ. He is Board Certified in gastroenterology and twice was chosen as one of the “Top Docs” in Main Line Today Magazine. Dr. Bobman is active on the board of the Chester County Medical Society.
Matthew M. Baichi, M.D.
Dr. Baichi joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2007 after practicing and teaching gastroenterology at the V.A. Western New York Health Care System and S.U.N.Y. University at Buffalo. He has conducted research on a wide range of GI. diseases, and has presented his work at national conferences and has authored numerous scientific publications. Dr. Baichi grew up in Syracuse, N.Y., where he graduated from nearby Colgate University. He then received a Master of Science degree from University at Buffalo and his medical degree from the S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center at Syracuse. Dr. Baichi completed residency training in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Rochester (N.Y.). He practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis). Dr. Baichi is married and has two young daughters. In his spare time he enjoys fishing in the local streams.
Carrie N. Miller, M.D.
Born and raised in northeast Philadelphia, Dr. Miller attended New York University School of Medicine after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed internal medicine residency training at Thomas Jefferson University and a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Miller is certified in all core GI procedures including capsule endoscopy, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. She has recently co-authored a book chapter on nutrition and has given numerous lectures on a wide variety of topics in her field. Dr. Miller has two young daughters at home.
