Samuel Licata, MD, FACS

Dr. Licata is a Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from West Virginia University Medical School in 1990. Dr. Licata completed his internship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and finished his residency in Cleveland, Ohio, at Meridia Huron Hospital in 1995. He became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1999. 

Dr. Licata has been in practice for 12 years and is Chairman of the department of surgery at Weirton Medical Center and is a Member of the Hancock County Medical Society and the West Virginia State Medical Society.
