Charles E. Allen, MD

Charles E. Allen, MD

Dr. Allen earned his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. He did his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas. He has been in private practice in Gainesville since 1989.

Dr. Allen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Physicians, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Georgia Gastroenterological and Endoscopic Society.

He is a member of the Medical Staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he served as Chief of Staff 1999-2000. He is a member of the staff at the Gainesville Endoscopy Center. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. His practice is limited to Gastroenterology.

Dr. Clark earned his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Services in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He has been in private practice in Gainesville since 2003.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine He is a member of American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, & American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

He is a member of the Medical Staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Gainesville Endoscopy Center. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. His practice is limited to Gastroenterology.

Dr. Clark resides in Gainesville with his wife and two children.

Sheraj Jacob, MD

Dr. Jacob earned his medical degree from Kerala University in Trivandrum, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospital in Missouri. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Ochsner Clinics in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was previously in practice at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans from July 1999 to May 2006. He has been in private practice in Gainesville since 2006.

Dr. Jacob is certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of Royal College of Physicians, American College of Physicians, and American College of Gastroenterology.

He is a member of the Medical Staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Gainesville Endoscopy Center. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. His practice is limited to Gastroenterology.

John Kalarickal, MD

John Kalarickal, MD

Dr. Kalarickal earned his medical degree from Ross University of Medicine and is highly trained in endoscopic procedures. He is a Gastroenterology Hospitalist and takes care of all patients admitted to NGMC.

Dr. Kalarickal, his wife and three children moved to Gainesville in July 2010.

A native of North Georgia, Dr. Moore received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. His specialty training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology was also at the Medical College of Georgia. He has been in practice in Gainesville since 1981.

Dr. Moore is certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of American and the Medical Association of Georgia.

He served as the president of the Hall County Medical Society in 1989-1990. He is a member of the medical staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he is Chief of Endoscopy. He is currently serving on the Health System Board of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He is a member of the staff at the Gainesville Endoscopy Center. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. His practice is limited to Gastroenterology.

In his leisure time Dr. Moore enjoys exercise, golf, and snow skiing.

Dr. Pareek earned her medical degree from Sawai Man Singh Medical Center. She is the first and only female Gastroenterologist in Gainesville.

Dr. Pareek, her husband and son moved to Gainesville in July 2010.

Vinayakesara (Vinni) M. Reddy, MD

Vinayakesara (Vinni) M. Reddy, MD

Dr. Reddy earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Medical College of Georgia.

He also completed a one-year Gastroenterology-Nutrition fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He most recently served as Assistant Professor at Medical College of Georgia and as an attending physician and director of Endoscopy at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Augusta. He has been in private practice in Gainesville since July 2007.

He is a member of the Medical Staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Neeraj Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma completed his fellowship in GI and Endoscopic Ultrasound from the University of South Carolina. His medical degree was received from the Medical College of Georgia and his BS from Emory University in Atlanta.

Ankur Sheth, MD

Ankur Sheth, MD

Dr. Sheth earned his medical degree from Smt. N.H.L Medical College in India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship training from Louisiana State University, Shreveport and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Sheth also has a Masters in Public Health from University of North Texas, Fortworth.

Before joining Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, Dr. Sheth practiced for 5 years as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he trained medical students, residents & fellows and provided medical care at a tertiary care university teaching hospital. He has authored numerous scholarly manuscripts published in prestigious journals and have delivered several CME talks to his peers and colleagues at various meeting including Regional ACG meeting. Dr. Sheth received "Scholar in Gastroenterology" award from American Federation of Medical Research (2009) and is honored as a fellow of American College of Physician (FACP) and American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). He is also a member of American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr Sheth's areas of interest include colon cancer screening, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Esophageal Motility disorders and Liver diseases. His procedural interest includes Upper endoscopy, Colonoscopy including Screening, ERCP, luminal stenting and Hemorrhoid banding.

Dr Sheth is on the staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Habersham Medical Center, Gainesville Endoscopy Center and Braselton Endoscopy Center.
