Feng Li, MD

Dr. LiDr. Feng Li is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Li received his B.S. in chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA.

He completed his residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY and the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Division of Internal Medicine. He did a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Mayo Clinic Arizona Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Scottsdale, AZ and a fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy in EUS, ERCP and Single Balloon Enterscopy at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Li is interested in general GI, Hepatobiliary diseases, Pancreatic diseases, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Small Bowel, Capsule Endoscopy, Balloon Enteroscopy and Liver Disease.

 

Sauyu Lin, MD

Dr. LinDr. Sauyu Lin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lin received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Duke University Medical Center.

Dr. Lin is interested in general GI, esophageal diseases, GI motility disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and preventative health.

 

Donald E. Rawls, MD

Dr. RawlsDr. Donald E. Rawls is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rawls received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Dr. Rawls is interested in general GI, advanced endoscopy, clinical nutrition, pancreatic and biliary diseases.

 

Shou Jiang Tang, MD

Dr. TangDr. Shou Tang is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. Dr. Tang received his medical degree from West China University of Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California in Los Angeles, a fellowship in molecular genetics and biology at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto and a fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Tang is the Director of the Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics Endoscopy Center. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Center at Tyler.

His main interests are therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic innovations. Dr. Tang has numerous published articles to his credit.

 

Kai Xia, MD

Dr. XiaDr. Kai Xia is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Xia leads the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics as Chief, as well as Medical Director of Clinical Research. While serving as an active community faculty member at the Baylor Medical Center and the Baylor Regional Transplant Institute, she is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine for the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.

Her main interests are liver disease, general GI, pancreatic disease, women’s digestive diseases, obesity and preventive health. Dr. Xia’s world class vision for Trinity Mother Frances Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endosocpy is leading her centers and clinics toward providing brighter futures for all east Texans.
