John Dobrota M.D.
Raised in the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Dobrota grew up near the famous Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He attended Lehigh University, where he was an academic scholar and athlete, participating in many sporting activities. After graduation, he moved to Philadelphia where he attended Hahnemann University for his medical training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship training in Gastroenterology. Dr. Dobrota spent three years in Germany with the United States Army. He has traveled throughout Europe and married his high school sweetheart. He has three children and nine grandchildren. Dr. Dobrota was the founder of this practice thirty-five years ago and is very proud to be a part of managing your GI Health.
Frank Kucer M.D.
Dr. Kucer was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated from college with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he realized his love for people rather than that of machines and processes. He moved to Philadelphia to attend Jefferson Medical School where he met his wife, Kathy. They had four sons who are now all grown with children of their own. They have now started and love their new "career" as Grandparents. Dr. Kucer takes pride in a “patient based” practice philosophy. All of his decisions are based on what is best for you, the patient. He will take the time to listen to your concerns and appreciates your trust in the practice.
Kathleen Lukaszewski D.O.
As the newest member to the practice, Dr. Lukaszewski brings excitement and high energy. She has had a lifelong ambition to take care of patients and medicine is a second career. Dr. Lukaszewski started in physical therapy and worked for several years in adult rehabilitation. Dr. Lukaszewski went to medical school at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her training in internal medicine and Gastroenterology at Temple University Hospital. It has been Dr. Lukaszewski’s privilege to serve the Upper Bucks Community for the past three years. Dr. Lukaszewski considers herself to be an East Coast girl. She was born in New Jersey and educated in Boston, New York City and Stratford. When she is not in the office or Endoscopy Center, you can find her on the beaches of Cape May County or on the ski slopes in the Pocono’s. Dr. Lukaszewski is proud to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and would like to thank you for placing your trust in the practice to satisfy your GI needs.
Ronald Markos M.D.
Dr. Markos was trained at Hahnemann University Hospital and has been part of the practice since 1992. Every year he learns more about himself and his calling as a physician. Dr. Markos has a goal to always improve himself for the sake of his patients who rely on him. He strives to apply these skills with compassion and understanding with the hope that his patients will experience these priorities. Dr. Markos met his wife when they were teenagers in his church’s youth group. They went to college in Central New Jersey and eventually in Philadelphia. They have two children and he draws his strength and the balance for his life from his family.
