Olaitan A. Adeniji, M.D.
A native of Nigeria, Dr. Adeniji received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Ogun State University’s Obafemi Awolowo College of Health, in Sagamu. He attended the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he completed his internship and residency programs in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama, where he also served as a clinical instructor. He also served as an emergency room consultant for the Thomasville Infirmary in Thomasville, Alabama.
Dr. Adeniji is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association. In addition, he holds certifications from the American College of Surgeons’ Advanced Trauma Life Support course and the American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Program.
He joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2003 and sees patients in the Lawrenceville and Snellville locations.
Srinivasa (Srini) R. Ayinala, M.D.
Dr. Ayinala began his medical training in Tirupathi, AP, India at S.V. Medical College. After completing a rotating internship at S.V.R.R. Hospital in India, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Kings Brooks Jewish Medical Center at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, where he served as chief resident from 1998 to 1999. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Ayinala is trained in advanced endoscopic techniques such as ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound, and has a special interest in treating gastrointestinal cancers. A member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians, he has been in practice since 2003 and joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2005.
Dr. Ayinala sees patients at the Lawrenceville and Snellville locations.
Kerry H. King, M.D.
A third generation physician, Dr. King graduated with honors from the University of Florida and received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Following his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. King completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. While there, he received the “Golden Apple” house staff teaching award.
Dr. King, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, has been in private practice since 1985 and has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medical. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has been elected a fellow by the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has published numerous articles in medical journals and was voted by his peers as one of Gwinnett’s Best Doctors in 2006.
Dr. King treats patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal diseases and is experienced in advanced therapeutic procedures. He volunteers for a number of community medical clinics and has served on numerous medical mission trips.
He sees patients at the Lawrenceville and Snellville locations.
Sanjay R. Parikh, M.D.
Dr. Parikh received his medical degree from Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, India, and completed his internship at BJ Medical College. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at Shah Medical College, where he was chief resident. He also served as chief resident during his residency in internal medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center at New York University School of Medicine, where he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Parikh is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Parikh joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2000 and sees patients at the Lawrenceville and Snellville locations.
Jyotsna Talapaneni, M.D.
Dr. Talapaneni is a graduate of N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Kurnool (India) Medical College, where she received degrees in medicine and surgery. During medical school, she received the award for the best medical student in school health and was named the best student in her graduating class. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Prior to completing her residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, she served as a research assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Kansas Medical Center Program in Kansas City.
Dr. Talapaneni is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association and has had several abstracts published. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel and biliary diseases, as well as management of women's gastrointestinal issues.
