Delbert L. Chumley, M.D.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Chumley attended Central Catholic High School and has spent the last three decades in private practice. Although he has special interest and training in therapeutic endoscopy for hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and sphincter of Oddi disorders, he also has extensive expertise in treating patients with Crohn�s, ulcerative colitis, and refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease. Dr. Chumley has held several hospital and professional appointments and remains very active in organized medicine, legislative advocacy, and the development of medical education programs. He presently is the vice president of the American College of Gastroenterology, past president of the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, and past president of the Bexar County Medical Society. He also has served as president of the Texas A&M Medical & Dental Society and of the UTMB Internal Medicine Alumni Association. He continues to help train gastroenterology fellows and maintains a clinical faculty appointment of Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He and his wife of over 30 years, Louise, are the proud parents of three adult children, Chris, Keith, and Natalie.
Fred H. Goldner, M.D.
Dr. Goldner served in the United States Army for 23 years before entering private practice with Gastroenterology Consultants in 1994. During his distinguished career, he held numerous hospital appointments, including Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine and Director of the Residency Program at Brooke Army Medical Center from 1988 to 1993. His research work has appeared in several publications, including medical textbooks and journals. He continues to hold several teaching affiliations, including Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Goldner has two adult children and is the proud grandfather of two lovely girls.
