Imad Nakshabendi MD, PHD, FRCP, FACG

Dr. Nakshabendi is a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his PhD in Internal Medicine with honor from Glasgow University, Scotland and MRCP then FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians and completed his fellowship in Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at the University of South Florida, Tampa.

Dr. Nakshabendi is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Florida Gastroenterology Society.

Dr. Nakshabendi has carried out more than 5,000 colonoscopies , published more than 70 papers in various medical journals and presented many papers and posters at learned societies meetings, at both national and international levels such as Digestive Disease Week, American College of Gastroenterology, and British Society of Gastroenterology, etc. His main interest includes early detection of colorectal cancer, treatment of hemorrhoids, hepatobiliary and upper gastrointestinal pathologies and endoscopies.
