Somprak Boonpongmanee, MD, (Dr. Boon)

Dr. Boon received his medical degree with honor from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand in 1991. He did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University-Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland, OH. He completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington DC. During his fellowship, he also rotated through the gastroenterology service at the National Institute of Health (NIH), and Washington DC VA Medical Center. Dr. Boon is board certified in gastroenterology. He enjoys the challenges of gastrointestinal tract diseases. He believes in delivering the finest care possible for his patients. When he is not busy with his practice of medicine, Dr. Boon enjoys reading, bicycling, and spending time with his family; which includes his wife and his three children.
