Pedro P. Llaneza, MD

Dr. Llaneza is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He received his Medical Degree at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestria in Santiago, Dominican Republic while a resident there. Dr. Llaneza then completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology in Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. He has published multiple articles and research papers. He established permanent residency in Miami. He has been in private practice since 1987.

Dr. Llaneza is currently a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the AGA, ACG, ASGE and ACP. He has been Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Miami, Florida. He held the position of Chief of Gastroenterology at Baptist Health Systems of South Florida. He is a member of the Endoscopy Committee/ Baptist Hospital.
