Ben Terrany, MD, FACP, FACG

Dr. Terrany is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. While he has a special interest in advanced endoscopic procedures, Dr. Terrany's practice encompasses all areas of Clinical Gastroenterology. He has served as Chief of Gastroenterology and a member of Medical Executive Committee at Monmouth Medical Center.

Dr. Terrany is active in teaching medical residents and students at Monmouth Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He has given numerous lectures and actively trained physicians in performing endoscopic procedures.

Dr. Terrany performs special procedures including HALO (Barrett's ablation), esophageal manometry and pH monitoring, endoscopic mucosal resection, enteral stenting, tumor palliation with argon plasma coagulation, laser beam and photodynamic therapy in addition to advanced therapeutic biliary procedures.
