Shahla Rah, MD, FACG

Dr. Shahla Rah is an experienced and caring double board certified Gastroenterologist who brought over 10 years of practice experience to this community relocating from Fresno. She completed the residency in Internal medicine at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago, and her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, a prestigious program in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Rah believes in providing quality health care and takes special interest in women’s health issues, making them feel comfortable by listening to them with compassion. Her area of expertise is Colitis, Crohns, Prevention of Colon Cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Reflux, Ulcer and Liver diseases.

Dr. Rah keeps herself up to date with the latest information, and speaks nationally and locally for different organizations. She is a member of American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America, International Foundation of Irritable Bowel Disease, and Orange County Medical Association. She is very much involved in the community and charitable work, and is a member of LIGA flying doctors organization, Rotary International, and participates in various overseas charitable efforts.
