Jeffrey J. Lisko, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Lisko is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Minnesota Gastroenterology, P.A. in the Twin Cities. He sees patients at the practice’s Bloomington and Plymouth offices.
Dr. Lisko completed his medical degree, internship and residency at the University of Minnesota. Following his residency, he served as chief resident at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis. Subsequently, Dr. Lisko completed a three-year gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Lisko’s special interests are celiac sprue, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), acute GI bleeding and hemorrhoid banding.
Dorothy I. Whitmer, M.D.
Dr. Dorothy Whitmer is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Minnesota Gastroenterology, P.A. in the Twin Cities. She is sees patients at the practice’s Bloomington and Plymouth offices.
Dr. Whitmer received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. While completing her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, she worked as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, she was a research fellow at Harvard and completed a three-year gastroenterology fellowship at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Whitmer has published numerous articles on digestive disease in medical journals. Her special interests include treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), esophageal diseases, hemorrhoid banding and colonoscopy.
