Eduardo Ruan, M.D.
Dr. Ruan has been in private practice since 1996. Dr. Ruan is a graduate of the Colegio Mayor del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his internship at Georgetown University Department of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and his Gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Ruan is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Daniel Gelrud, MD
Dr. Daniel Gelrud is a graduate of the Central University of Venezuela. Dr. Gelrud completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship from Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Gelrud completed a Research Fellowship at the Brigham & Woman's Hospital of the Harvard Medical School in Boston. From 2001 through 2006, Dr. Gelrud was an Assistant Clinical Professor of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He was the Director of Interventional Endoscopy at Jacobi Medical Center and was an Endoscopic Ultrasound attending at Montefiore Medical Center.
Arie Slomianski, MD
Dr. Arie Slomianski has been in practice since 1995. Dr. Slomianski is a graduate of the National Autonomous University in Mexico City. Dr. Slomianski completed his internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he served as Chief Resident for one year. Doctor Slomianski is board certified in Gastroenterology.
Stefania Vernace, M.D.
Dr. Vernace is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She trained in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and specializes in Endoscopic Ultrasound, including pancreatic fine needle aspiration and Capsule Endoscopy.
Born in New York, Dr. Vernace received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York; her internship at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York, and returned to Mount Sinai Hospital for her residency. She then proceeded to obtain her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Weill-Cornell Medical College, New York Presbyterian Hospital where she had extensive training in Endoscopic Ultrasound.
