Meng Hua, MD
Dr. Hua received her medical degree in 1983 from Zhejiang Medical University in China after which she was a Resident in Ophthalmology. She received a second MD degree in 1992 from the University of Heidelberg in Heidelberg, Germany. She then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Heidelberg Hospital.
After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Hua did research in the Department of Medicine, University of Louisville, Kentucky, following which she was an Internal Medicine Resident at State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York from 1997 to 2000.
She was a Gastroenterology Fellow at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York from 2000-2003 and completed an advanced Fellowship in ERCP under Dr. Joseph Geenen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been practicing in San Diego since 2004.
Dr. Hua is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
