Roger G. Bangs, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Roger G. Bangs, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been caring for patients in the greater Lafayette area since 1991. His experience allows him to treat a wide variety of anorectal disorders.

Dr. Bangs earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his residency in general surgery at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine affiliate Akron City Hospital in 1991. He then entered private practice with the Arnett Clinic in Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Bangs has held a number of leadership positions in Lafayette, including President of the Medical Staff of Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, chairman of surgery and member of the Arnett board of directors.

Dr. Bangs is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. He, his wife, Beth, and two sons have been an active part of the Lafayette Community since 1991. Through their community involvement they hope to help make Lafayette a better place to live and work.
