Ramakrishna P. Kanuri, M.D.
Dr. Kanuri is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Kanuri completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan and completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He attended medical school and completed his Internship at the Osmania Medical College in Hyderadad, India.
Dr. Kanuri is a dedicated family man; he has been practicing in the Spring Hill/Brooksville area since 1989. He and his wife, Radha, have three children, Arjun, Nitya and Ajay.
Kamran Safdar, M.D.
Dr. Safdar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He completed a Fellowship in Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology at the University of Miami, a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated from the Army Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Dr. Safdar remained involved in teaching at several academic institutions prior to joining Hernando Gastroenterology Associates. He recently relocated to Tampa with his family and a child.
