Timothy Laurie, D.O.

Dr. Laurie attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and graduated with Dean's list honors in 1995. He received a Masters degree in Biology and graduated with Distinction honors in 1998 from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Dr. Laurie completed his medical training at Midwestern University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 graduating in the top 10% of his class. Afterwards, pursued an Internal Medicine Residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, and was recognized for multiple awards including Intern of the Year, Senior Teaching award, and Ambulatory Care Award along with multiple merits for compassion and stewardship. Dr. Laurie acquired specialized training in gastrointestinal and liver disorders and completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in 2009 and is Board Certified.

Dr. Laurie is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His philosophy of care embodies an evidence based, patient centered, compassionate approach.
