Natarajan S. Bala, MD, FACP, FACG, AGAF
Dr. Bala started his practice in the Clear Lake/Pasadena area in 1983 and Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. was formed. Dr. Bala completed his three year Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois and he also completed a two year Fellowship program in Gastroenterology at the same institution prior to 1983. He has extensive experience in various diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopies.
Dr. Bala is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a Clinical Associate at Baylor College of Medicine and is involved with teaching Gastroenterology Fellows. Dr. Bala has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He is also a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, The American Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Houston Gastroenterological Society. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.
Suresh K. Rajendran, MD, FACP, FACG, FASGE, AGAF
Dr. Rajendran joined Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. in 1992 after completing his training in New York. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Woodhall Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr Rajendran did his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York at the Bronx V.A. Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is highly skilled in all of the gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures including therapeutic ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound.
Dr. Rajendran is a Clinical Instructor at the Baylor College of Medicine. He has been elected Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Rajendran is also a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association, Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Harry S. Ojeas, MD
Dr. Ojeas joined Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. in 1996 after complementing his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, Oklahoma City. He competed he residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Ojeas is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has an extensive knowledge in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. Dr. Ojeas is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Franz Schneider, MD
Dr. Schneider joined Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. in 1998. Board Certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He performed his post graduate training Residency in Internal Medicine at New Britain General Hospital, University of Connecticut. Dr. Schneider completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. One year of his subspecialty training was dedicated to Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and an additional year in Hepatology.
Dr. Schneider is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Daniel H. Darmadi, MD, FACP, FACG, FASGE, AGAF
Dr. Darmadi joined Gastroenterology Consultants, PA in 2002 after completing Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Darmadi completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. He is extensively trained in advance therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound.
Dr. Darmadi is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He has been elected Fellow of the American College of Physician, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Gastroenterological Association. He is an active member of the American Medical Association and Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. Dr. Darmadi has Faculty appointment as Clinical Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Darmadi is also affiliated with Memorial Herrmann Southeast Hospital, Patients Medical Center and Bayshore Medical Center. He was elected Physician of the Year of Memorial Herrmann Southeast Hospital in 2004. He is the Chief of Gastroenterology at Memorial Herrmann Southeast Hospital since 2006 and he is currently the Chairman Department of Medicine at Bayshore Medical Center.
Amaar Ghazale, MD
Dr. Ghazale joined Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. in 2009 after completing his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota and subsequently an Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where he received the Emory School of Medicine Resident Achievement Award.
Dr. Ghazale has broad interests in digestive diseases and endoscopy with a special concentration on endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and therapeutic ERCP. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.
Jyoti Rao, MD, FACG
Dr. Rao has been practicing Gastroenterology since 1995. She has joined Gastroenterology Consultants in 2004, after having practiced at Kaiser Permanente, California and prior to that in Dallas, Texas as a Solo Practitioner.
Dr. Rao completed her Fellowship in Gastroenterology from University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois. She did her Residency in Internal Medicine, at the University of Illinois, Chicago, after finishing her Medical School, from Andhra Medical College, India.
She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a member of American College of Gastroenterology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Rao has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Liver Diseases. She is highly skilled in Gastroenterological procedures, and strives to care for her patients with Empathy and Compassion.
Michel Kafrouni, MD
Dr. Kafrouni joined Gastroenterology Consultants, P.A. in 2008 after completing his Fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is well trained in general gastroenterology, hepatology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Kafrouni is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Texas Medical Association.
