Ashok Attaluri, M.D.
Dr. Attaluri was born in Vijayawada, India, and is a graduate of Siddhartha Medical College in India. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill., and a fellowship in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He has also completed specialized fellowships in Neurogastroenterology and Motility and Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Iowa City.
Dr. Attaluri believes in a multidisciplinary approach that includes understanding the pathophysiology of symptoms, and utilizing targeted therapy as well as psychologists, dieticians and physical therapists as needed.
Dr. Attaluri is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Physicians, the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, and Functional Brain Gut Group.
Joseph Julian Lopez, M.D.
Dr. Lopez is a Medical School graduate of the University of Mexico and completed his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lopez is a member of many organizational affiliations including the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Physicians.
Arvind Movva, M.D.
Dr. Movva was born in New York City, and moved to the Quad Cities with his family in 1980. He is a graduate of Boston University, where he received a bachelor’s degree, and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences in Chicago. He completed his internship at the University of Illinois Medical Center, a residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.
Dr. Movva offers a full range of gastroenterology care and procedures including ERCP/EUS, hemorrhoidal banding and cures for Barrett’s esophagus, and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Illinois State Medical Society, and Quad City Medical Society.
Rao V. Movva, MD
Dr. Movva was born in Ventrapragada, India. He obtained his medical degree from Karnatak University in India. He came to the United States in 1974. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the Jamaica Hospital in New York. He came to the Quad Cities in 1980 where he opened his own private practice. He serves on the board of directors for Trinity Health Foundation and TPHO. Dr. Movva is married and has two children.
Norman Williams, M.D.
Dr. Williams was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and received his medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Ottawa Civic Hospital in Ontario, Canada, residencies in Internal Medicine at Ottawa Civic Hospital and McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, and fellowships (Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology) at Ottawa Civic Hospital.
Dr. Williams specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal motility disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), peptic ulcers, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and colon cancer, and his primary interest is to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from GI disorders.
