Joel H. Kurtz, MD

Dr. Kurtz is a board certified Gastroenterologist. He attended undergraduate school at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. He earned his medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He received his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.

Dr. Kurtz has been serving the Ocean County area in the private practice of Gastroenterology since 1988. He has hospital privileges at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ and Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ, and is a member of the New Jersey Medical Society, Ocean County Medical Society, and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Kurtz spends his leisure time jogging, biking and travelling with his wife, Debbie.

Joel M. Musicant, MD

Dr. Musicant was Board Certified in 1997. He graduated Union College, NY in 1985 with B.S. in Biology with Honors. He graduated Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia in 1989 with Honors in Surgery. He completed his Internship and Residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston, MA and competed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Tufts University Program in Boston.

Dr. Musicant is a member of Ocean County Medical Society, New Jersey Medical Society and New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Musicant has been practicing with Gastroenterology Associates of Ocean County since 1994 and is on staff at Community Medical Center, Toms River and Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ and Shore Outpatient Surgicenter in Lakewood.

His Hobbies include music, baseball, reading and skiing.
