Christopher M. Griffith, M.D.
Dr. Griffith is a 1994 graduate of Belmont University and received his medical degree from East Tennessee State University in 2000. He served his internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he completed his studies in 2007.
Dr. Griffith began working at the Gastroenterology Center of the MidSouth, now Gastro One, shortly after his time in San Antonio. He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.
William G. Hardin, M.D.
A graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, Dr. Hardin graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi in 1978. He interned and was a resident at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis before beginning his fellowship at the University of Mississippi in 1981.
In 1983, he joined the Rush Medical Group in Meridian, MS. He came to Memphis in 1989 to practice with the Gastroenterology Consultants, and after spending eight years there, he joined the Gastroenterology Center of the MidSouth, now Gastro One.
He was certified by the American Board of internal medicine in 1982 and gastroenterology in 1983.
Eric John Ormseth, M.D.
After graduating from the University of North Dakota, Dr. Ormseth spent two years in the Peace Corps teaching math, science and English in Lesotho. In 1988, he entered medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine and received an M.D. in 1992. At Tulane, he was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. He then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Madigan Army Medical Center.
After serving as a staff internist at Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center from 1995-1997, he began a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After his fellowship ended in 2000, Dr. Ormseth returned to the Madigan Army Medical Center as a staff gastroenterologist. Three years later, he came to the Gastroenterology Center of the MidSouth, now Gastro One, to practice.
He was certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1997 and in gastroenterology in 2000. He has been recertified in gastroenterology.
