Charles Brunelle, M.D.
Dr. Brunelle co-founded the practice in 1978. He received his medical degree from State University of New York at Brooklyn in 1973. He also completed his medical residency at State University of New York at Buffalo in 1975. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Albany Medical Center Hospital in 1978. He is certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and of the American Gastroenterological Association.
Mark Leifer, M.D.
Dr. Leifer joined Gastro-Intestinal Associates in 1988. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore Maryland. He completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Leifer is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a past president of the Allen County Academy of Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Scott Rinesmith, M.D.
Dr. Rinesmith joined our practice in 2007. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2001, and completed his internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati in 2004. He completed a fellowship in Digestive Disease at The Ohio State University in 2007, and is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Tariq Sheikh, M.D.
Dr. Sheikh has been with our practice since 2000. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College Punjab University in 1986. He completed his internal medicine residency at Interfaith Medical Center and his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Mississippi. He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Howard Solomon, M.D.
Dr. Solomon has been with our practice since 1993. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Jayde Kurland, M.D., FACP, FACG
Dr. Kurland graduated from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. He completed an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess, a Harvard Hospital.
Dr. Kurland joined the faculty at University of Cincinnati, where he served as an Assistant professor before joining Gastrointestinal Associates. He has a special interest in endoscopic modalities of treatment in complex pancreatobiliary disorders . Dr. Kurland is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He is also an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Howard Solomon, M.D.
Dr. Solomon has been with our practice since 1993. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Robert Neidich M.D.
Dr. Neidich has been practicing Gastroenterology since 1995. He received his fellowship training at Washington University. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and was the former Chief of Staff at St Rita’s Medical Center.
