Dr. George Halow received his medical degree in 1975. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital he did a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He also completed a fellowship in Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh. He was an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as well as at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Halow has been practicing in El Paso, Texas since 1982 with special interest in research as it relates to improving patient care. He is a member of several GI societies as well as chairing several committees at hospitals throughout El Paso.
