Dr. SchubDr. Schub is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His fellowship training in gastroenterology was completed at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Schub has a unique background for understanding and treating anorectal disorders. This includes hemorrhoidal banding, bowel habit training, biofeedback and osteopathic manipulation.

Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals performs the latest diagnostic testing in gastroenterology. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system. Our endoscopy center, conveniently located adjacent to our medical practice, is AAAHC accredited, as well as Medicare certified. Dr. Schub has served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniform Services University of the Health Sciences. He was also honored as a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, and as a gastroenterologist at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Schub has been president of the Howard County Medical Society and the Maryland Association of Osteopathic Physicians. In addition to patient care, he has been active in clinical research, teaching, and has authored gastrointestinal articles.
