Joel A. Sach M.D.

Dr. Sach completed his undergraduate education with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude from University of California- Los Angeles (UCLA) and went on to University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine to receive his medical degree. His internship and residency training was completed at Cedars Sinai Medical Center subsequent to which he went back to UCLA to receive his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship training. While a Fellow at UCLA, he was awarded the prestigious Research Award bestowed by the American College of Gastroenterology for his research in the realm of "Mind-Body Medicine" as it relates to gender specific effects of stress on gastrointestinal function (i.e., Brain-Gut axis).
