Donald Lipkis, MD
Dr. Lipkis is the senior partner, beginning his practice in San Diego in 1978. He completed his undergraduate education at UCLA and medical school training at the University of Southern California, graduating with honors.
Dr. Lipkis finished his postgraduate training with a residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterolgy fellowship at the USC-Los Angeles County Medical Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lipkis is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He has been the principal investigator in numerous clinical research studies. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
His interests include liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatico-biliary diseases, gastroesophageal reflux disease and colon cancer.
