Salma Akram, M.D.

Dr. Akram received her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, University of Punjab, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 1991.  After completing her Internal Medicine residency at Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland, she did a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Akram has been practicing in Dayton, OH since 2008 with special interest in GI. She is a member of several GI societies including American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine (ACP-ASIM).

Ramesh Gandhi, M.D., MBA

Dr. Gandhi is a Gastroenterologist, board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1976 and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology.  He is the head of a group of 15 specialists and has been with this group for 34 years.   Dr. Gandhi is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.

He served his Internship at Interfaith Hospital in Brooklyn, NY from 1973 to 1976. His Residency was at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, Bronx, NY from 1974 to 1976.  Dr. Gandhi went on to serve his GI Fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA and Kettering Medical Center. 

Dr.  Gandhi is a Member of the Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS), American Medical Association (AMA), Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Rajkamal Jit, M.D.

Dr. Jit received his medical degree from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Faridkot, India in 1989.  After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Wright State University, he did a Gastroenterology fellowship at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.

Dr. Jit has been practicing in Kettering, OH since 1999 with special interest in GI. He is a member of several GI societies including the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS).

Dr. David Novick, M.D., FACP

Dr. Novick received his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1974. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY in 1977 he did a Fellowship in Liver Diseases at the Royal Free Hospital, London, England in 1984 and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Yale University/Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT in 1991.
