Ross S. Keener M.D.

Dr. Keener Dr. Keener is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has completed extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and gallbladder. He has been in private practice since 2003 and associated with Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc. since 2003.

Dr. Keener received his undergraduate degree with honors from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri, Columbia and his Clinical Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He is a member of several professional associations including the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGE), American Society of GI Endoscopy (ASGE), American Medical Association (AMA), Arkansas-Oklahoma Endoscopic Society and Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA).

Dr. Keener has special interest in colon cancer prevention, gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel diseases.

Arun K. Sachdev, M.D.

Dr. SachdevDr. Sachdev earned his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. During his residency, Dr. Sachdev was Chief Resident.

Dr. Sachdev is a member of several professional associations including the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.

Verapan Vongthavaravat, M.D.

Dr. VerapanDr. Vong received his medical degree from Thailand. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from MetroWest Medical Center in Massachusetts and his Gastroenterology fellowship training at the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Vong remained at the University of Oklahoma, post training, as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Digestive Diseases Section where he was active with research as well as clinical instruction and supervision of Gastroenterology fellows for three years. He then entered private practice in Washington State from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Vong joined Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc. in January 2011.

Dr. Vong is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has completed extensive training in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, and gallbladder. Dr. Vong has special interest and training in advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures including Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS). He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

David A. Neumann, M.D.

Dr. NeumannDr. Neumann is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has completed extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and gallbladder. He has been in private practice since 1976 and with Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc., since 1998. Dr. Neumann is widely respected in his field.

Dr. Neumann received both his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. Before beginning his Residency, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps for two years where he did medical research for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. He subsequently completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Clinical Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University Hospital and Clinics and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Neumann is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the Arkansas/Oklahoma Endoscopy Society, and the American and Oklahoma Medical Associations.
