Steven Eric Hearne, M.D.

Dr. Hearne completed his residency, internship and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. 

Dr. Hearne is a member of the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Medical Association, and Bexar County Medical Society. 

Dr. Hearne has been a Clinical Professor since 1991 at the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Ricardo A. Hernandez, M.D.

Dr. Hernandez completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. 

Dr. Hernandez is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterology Association, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Texas Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Mexican-American Physicians’ Association. 

Clinton D. Polhamus, M.D.

Dr. Polhamus has returned to San Antonio after practicing in Virginia for the past 7 years.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has credentials in most endoscopic procedures such as ERCP (bile duct work), upper endoscopy (examination of the swallowing tube and stomach) and colonoscopy (examination of the large intestine). He also holds credentials in the performance of liver biopsy.
