Ramsey Umar, M.D.
Dr. Umar is a board certified Gastroenterologist practicing in Mesa, Arizona as part of Digestive Disease Consultants, a Division of Arizona Digestive Health, PC. He started his training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MD, 2001), before moving on to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, for Internal Medicine Residency and then completing his training at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. During fellowship training, he gained vast expertise in the management of GI and Liver Diseases in including treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, viral hepatitis, GERD and management of gastrointestinal bleeding. He is highly competent in gastrointestinal endoscopy including performance of therapeutic ERCP and performance of wireless capsule endoscopy. Dr. Umar is accepting new patients.
Andrew Collins, M.D.
Dr. Collins is a board certified Gastroenterologist and has had extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He attended Medical School at Creighton University in 1989 and received his advanced degree in 1990. In 1993 he completed his residency with Creighton University and pursued his fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center/Carl Hayden Phoenix VA Hospital.
Craig M. Stein, M.D.
Dr. Stein is a board certified Gastroenterologist and has had extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He attended Medical School at the University of Southern California and did his internship at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, followed by his residency at the University of South California. Dr. Stein completed his Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship in 1994, followed by his Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship in 1995.
Steven T. Zierer, M.D.
Dr. Zierer is a board certified Gastroenterologist and has had extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He completed his Medical Degree at the Indiana School of Medicine and completed his residency at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Dr. Zierer completed his Gastroenterology/Heaptology Fellowship in 1994 at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center/Carl Hayden Phoenix VA Hospital, and a year later completed his Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at the same center.
