Dr. Ravi Botla

Dr. Botla received his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India. After finishing his Internal Medicine residency at Grant Hospital in Chicago, an affiliate of Rush-Presbyterian Medical Center, he went on to do research in Liver Diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His research articles can be found in many peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Sotla completed his Hepatology fellowship at the University of Southern California and came to San Antonio, Texas to finish his Gastroenterology fellowship as well as an Advanced Endoscopy training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center-San Antonio.

Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Botla has been in private practice since 1998. His primary interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and the treatment of Liver Diseases. He is also proficient in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He is a fellow of the American College of physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology.
