David S. Shields, M.D. is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist with his private consultative office located directly across from Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Shields is recognized on “Top Doctors” lists and is known by many of his colleagues as a “doctor’s doctor.” He served as the Director of Endoscopy at Stanford University Medical Center. He continues to enjoy actively teaching at Stanford and has been recognized with an “Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award.” Dr. Shields is a graduate of UCSF Medical School.
