David E. Wexler, M.D., F.A.C.G., A.G.A.F.

Dr. Wexler is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. He graduated from Columbia University in 1978 and New Jersey Medical School, UMDNJ in 1980. He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New Jersey Medical School - UMDNJ and Professor of Medicine at Seton Hall University School of Graduates Medical Education. He was elected to Fellowship of American College of Gastroenterology in 1997 and American Gastroenterological Association, Fellowship in 2008. He also served as Chief of the Gastroenterology Department at Trinitas Regional Medical Center from 1997 to 1999. He has been Chief of the Gastroenterology Department at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway since 1995.

Dr. Wexler specializes in advanced endoscopic procedures including endoscopic mucosal resection, enteral stenting, tumor palliation with argon plasma coagulation and laser beam in addition to advanced therapeutic biliary and pancreatic procedures. Dr. Wexler’s practice includes all areas of Clinical Gastroenterology and liver disease.

He has been practicing in Clark, NJ, with special interest in internal hemorrhoid treatment since 1985.
