Allen R. Kaufman, M.D., FACP, FACG

Dr. Kaufman is a Kansas native who graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 1984 and his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic in 1986, where he was Chief Fellow. Dr. Kaufman is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has been in private practice in the Des Moines area since 1986.
