Gordon Luk, M.D.

Dr. Gordon Luk graduated from Harvard Medical School, and did both his Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He stayed at Hopkins for the next 7 years, where he became an Associate Professor and was in charge of the Colon Polyp Program. He eventually relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He was Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern at Dallas and Chief of GI at the Dallas VA Medical Center for 7 years, before going into private practice in the Bedford area.

His research interest was in colon cancer and colon polyps and he has published more than 200 articles and book chapters on various GI and liver diseases. He has been honored by multiple GI professional societies and the National Institutes of Health.

He began treating patients with hemorrhoids while at the Dallas VA Medical Center greater than 10 years ago, but was not satisfied with the equipment available at that time. Over the past year he has found the modern CRH-O’Regan Disposable Hemorrhoid Banding System to be an excellent treatment for his patients with hemorrhoids. He is pleased to provide this treatment to his patients.
