Barry Levitt, M.D.
A magna cum laude graduate of Yeshiva University, Dr. Levitt received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. He completed both his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Following a year as chief resident at Frankford-Torresdale Hospital of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he returned to Temple University Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
During his fellowship, Dr. Levitt participated in a number of research projects and during his career, has had several papers published in gastroenterology journals.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Levitt joined the practice in 2007 and sees patients at the Decatur location.
John Suh M.D., M.P.H.
After completing his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Dr. Suh received a masters's degree in health policy and management at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta. During graduate school, he served as a research assistant at the Centers for Disease Control in special pathogens. He then worked as an intern for the Institute for Diversity in Health Management and as a consultant for Healthcare Microsystems.
Dr. Suh completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Following a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, he then completed a fellowship in advanced endoscopy at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology, and has contributed chapters to two gastroenterology textbooks. Dr. Suh joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2008.
