Gregory S. Smith, M.D.

Dr. Gregory Smith received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, he did a Gastroenterology fellowship at the University Of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA.

Dr. Gregory Smith has been practicing in Athens, Georgia since 1999 with a special interest in Gastroenterology, Hepatology (Liver) and Colon cancer. He is a member of several GI societies including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.

Dr. Gregory Smith is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Smith has been married twenty years and has three children.
