Kenneth N. Josovitz, M.D., M.P.H., FACG, FAGA

Dr. JosovitzDr. Josovitz grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Lafayette College with a B.A. in biology. He received his Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and obtained his M.D. from the University of New Jersey Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Columbia University, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Josovitz is board certified in gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. He was recognized as a one of the region’s top gastroenterologists by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011.

Michael C. Brown, M.D.

Dr. BrownDr. Brown grew up in Connecticut. He attended Duke University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in history. While at Duke, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. at the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle where he received a Clinical Research Award. He is board certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Brown is Chief of the Gastroenterology Section at Sentara Potomac Hospital, Chief of Endoscopy at Stafford Hospital, and was recognized as one of the region's top gastroenterologists by Washingtonian Magazine in 2008 and by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011.

Atul V. Marathe, M.D.

Dr. MaratheDr. Marathe grew up in Gaithersburg, MD. He majored in biomedical engineering at Virginia Tech and then received his M.D. at the Howard University College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (the national medical honor society). Dr. Marathe completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. While at Emory, he was honored with the Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Marathe is board certified in gastroenterology. He was recognized as a one of the region’s top gastroenterologists by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011.

Jack C. Huang, M.D.

Dr. HuangDr. Huang was raised in Potomac, MD. He majored in biology at Cornell University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine, and did his internal medicine residency at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center with a special fellowship in hepatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, both in New York City. Dr. Huang is board certified in gastroenterology.

Ghazaleh Aram, M.D.

Dr. AramDr. Aram was raised in Gaithersburg, MD. She majored in biochemistry and psychology at the University of Maryland, receiving High Honors for her biochemistry research. After briefly working at the National Institutes of Health, she received her M.D. at the University of Vermont where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa. She did an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and then completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Aram is board certified in gastroenterology and has authored several articles. She was recognized as a one of the region’s top gastroenterologists by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011.
