Allen Ahdoot, M.D.

Dr. Ahdoot is a graduate of the University Scholars’ Program of New York University. He completed his medical training at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His residency training was done at Montefiore Medical Center, of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His Liver training was done at Mount Sinai Medical Center and his Gastroenterology training was completed at St. Lukes’ – Roosevelt Hospital Center, a division of Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is on staff at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. His clinical interests include general gastroenterology and liver diseases, with special focus on colon cancer screening and reflux/Barrett’s esophagus. He also has special interest in diseases of the rectum and perinal area, such as hemorrhoids, fissures and anal spasm. Dr. Ahdoot is happily married with four children. He enjoys playing tennis and jogging. He is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew and Farsi. His office has a large and multicultural staff attentive to patient care and comfort.
