William E. Lyles MD

Dr. Lyles is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. After graduating from Northeast Louisiana University, he earned his Medical Degree at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He did his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee/Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. His Fellowship in Gastroenterology was at University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, FL. Following this, he served in the United States Air Force for a total of four years.

Dr. Lyles has been in private practice since June of 1994. He is a member of numerous affiliations including the AMA, AGA, ACG, ASGE, ACP, and the Louisiana Gastroenterology Society. He currently is on the Board of Trustees for the American College of Gastroenterology. He was the initial president of the LGS.

Dr. Lyles enjoys many hobbies such as sports, gardening, and traveling. He is an avid LSU sports fan. He also is very fortunate to enjoy these with his wife, Angel and four daughters.
