Harsh V. Duphare, M.D.

After graduating from Hindu College Delhi University, Dr. Duphare received his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Services in New Delhi. He also completed his internship and residency in internal medicine there, serving as Chief Resident, as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Duphare then moved to the United States where he completed a residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 1999, he went into private practice.

He is a member of the American Gastroenterologist Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has had articles published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology and Lancet.

Dr. Duphare has a special interest and training in ERCP, EUS and video capsule endoscopy. He joined Atlanta Gastroenterology in 2006 and sees patients at the Kennestone (Marietta) and Acworth locations.
